I'm Darren Phillips, 23 years of age and born in the godforsaken trailer parks of Mauldraugh. A goddamn day off to treat myself to some new bass strings at the Louisville mall. Walking to the store I hear people scream and a loud crash near the mall entrance.

I ain't one to show my feelings, so I'll just say this: I'm strong, athletic, and rough around the edges. Average intelligence? Maybe, but it's enough to survive whatever this shitshow is.
