Co-Founder of the Order of the Eternal Mist, brother to Douglas Applewhite. 10 years prior to the mist's descension onto Knoxsville, Johnny and Douglas, in the wake of myriad failed doomsday cults of 2012 saw an opening to exploit the masses themselves, founding the Order of the Eternal Mist. Predicting worldwide doom and determined to recruit as many into the order as possible, the brothers had initially intended only to swindle as many as possible before disappearing into a proverbial mist.

The brothers fell into a belief system of their own making when a stroke of fatal luck vindicated their prediction.

Now they are convinced they are prophets; preaching that they will find a way through the mist, and lead their faithful into a promised land.
