Before the Mist Jonathan Swanson had it all, now he has nothing. Once a prominent Alpinist, mountaineer and conservationist he spent many years globetrotting before a minor scandal involving a client on a trip up the the south Col of Everest. Forced by his smeared reputation to retire he spent some time in Aspen attempting to bond with his son Jamie, this is where he met his second wife and love of his life Linda Connor. Jonathan has ventured into the strange mist in hopes that they will all be reunited someday.
